The UK government has announced that from January 2027, international bachelor's and master's graduates will have their post-study work rights shortened from 2 years to 18 months. PhD graduates will retain the full 3-year allowance. If you're planning to study in the UK, applying sooner gives you the advantage of the current 2-year window.
